Note: St. John selected Skottsberg's "third" specimen (Selling 2886) as the lectotype because St. John claimed it agreed with the diagnosis given by Skottsberg, but 2886 was listed first by Skottsberg and noted as a smaller form. The sheets from BISH need to be re-examined to determine what St. John meant. Additional syntypes: Selling 2970, 15-16 August from Alakai and Selling 3086, 23 August from Waialeale
